Collaborative Research Programme:
REACTOR:
Nonlinear Chemistry in Complex Reactors:
Models and Experiments
Programme Aims and Themes
The aim of the programme is:
the development of fundamental understanding at the molecular level of the processes leading to the formation of spatiotemporal structure in chemical and biological systems.
The Programme will operate through three linked themes:
·
spatiotemporal pattern formation and control in novel open reactors;
· nonlinear kinetics of complex chemical and biochemical processes;
· nonlinear processes at interfaces in heterogeneous catalysis and
electrochemistry.
